During the summer season, popular activities at 8,000 feet include: scenic gondola rides, guided horseback tours, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, rafting, orienteering, hot air ballooning, mountain lunches and mountain bike tours. The resort also offers a summer music series, a twice-weekly farmers market and plenty of children’s programs. For wintertime fun, guests may enjoy skiing and snowboarding down the trails and in the terrain park. The resort also offers both ski school and equipment rentals. • THE CABIN – Park City’s premier dining experience features Rocky Mountain cuisine with the freshest regional fare and traditional southwestern ingredients. Open for breakfast and dinner daily.

• THE CABIN LOUNGE – Offers the perfect atmosphere for enjoying an after dinner drink with friends. From Thursday through Saturday, grab your favorite drink and an appetizer while listening to live music.

• DOC’S AT THE GONDOLA – The slope-side setting is perfect for lunch après ski. Doc’s is positioned perfectly at the base of the gondola and offers a delicious light menu and premium bar. Open seasonally. 

• FIRST TRACKS CAFÉ – Located in the lobby, First Tracks presents tasty “grab and go” breakfast selections. Open seasonally.

• RED PINE LODGE – At 8,000 feet and situated in an alpine meadow surrounded by towering mountain peaks, guests may enjoy grilled pizza, hearty soups, fresh salads and deli sandwiches. The Lodge is located at the top of the Flight of the Canyon Gondola and features a western menu in a casual setting.

• SMOKIES SMOKEHOUSE – A great family style restaurant located at the base of the mountain serving flavorful BBQ for lunch and dinner.  It’s the perfect place to stop at the end of a fun-filled day for a hot beverage or one of 16 draft beers from local brewers.

• THE LOOKOUT CABIN – The perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing after dinner drink. Open from 5pm.

• THE SUN LODGE AT SNOW CANYON – This spacious lodge serves grilled American and ethnic fare at the base of Snow Canyon. Both plated lunches and light fare available.

• VIKING DINNER YURT AND SLEIGHRIDE – A most magical and unforgettable dining experience! Bundle up for a sleigh ride ascending 1,000 feet up The Canyon ski runs and enjoy beautiful views under starry skies.  On specific evenings, you’ll work up an appetite following a guide through the pristine winter wonderland on snowshoes. Norwegian hospitality envelops you inside the yurt as you are greeted with a hot, spicy grogg in a pewter mug. Live piano music from the baby grand compliments the evening’s atmosphere. Enjoy a gourmet dinner inside the cozy yurt.
